Trey Smith is using the same arguments all special creationists use.  Each of the arguments has an answer from science.  Some answers require a better understanding of evolution, speciation, etc., than most people have.  Most answers require an infinity of one sort or another for them to bring about the results we see by chance alone. 

However, if the universe were created by an infinite mind with the express purpose of producing us through cosmological, chemical, and biological evolution, then both science AND the Bible would be vindicated.  I prefer this explanation because a God who can do that is infinitely more brilliant than one who puts the universe together already formed in its present state and I believe our God is more like the former than the latter.  Furthermore, I find much evidence to support it.

But as always, this is a side issue, one that pales in comparison to the one where creationists and theocreatic evolutionists agree.  We both agree that by accepting Jesus’ gift of salvation and Lordship, our adoption as beloved children of the Lord God Almighty, Creator of the Universe, is guaranteed now and for eternity.   And, when we finally enter that eternity, whichever one was right, “macht nichts.”

Videos of this type are OK if they help make a viewer more willing to consider the claims of the Bible.  However, they can be dangerous if they provide a sense of false security among their viewers so that when confronted with the counter arguments of a naturalistic evolutionist, these viewers lose their faith.  Those counter arguments do have their vulnerable points, but to counter them one has to be really knowledgeable-something most people are not.  In any event, I suspect these videos benefit more than they endanger because most viewers for whom the video is a catalyst to belief will never find themselves in a discussion of evolution with a naturalistic evolutionist unless he winds up in a college course where the professor is more interested in conversion to his viewpoint than professing the truth.
